Week 9 Fantasy Football Pick Ups
WR Martavis Bryant, Pittsburgh Steelers
2 games, 3 TDs? Tall, rookie wideout already looks better than Markus Wheaton.
WR Kenny Britt, St. Louis Rams
Brian Quick is out for the year. Next man up? More prototype WR compared to Tavon Austin and Stedman Bailey.
RB Charles Sims, Tampa Bay Buccaneers
The 3rd round pick out of West Virginia can come off the IR this week. Doug Martin sucks, Bobby Rainey blows, take a shot with Sims!
WR Donte Moncrief, Indianapolis Colts
Maybe he had a good game because Reggie Wayne didn't play, but in deeper leagues he's worth a shot. Luck will throw for 5,000 and he found Moncrief last week.
QB Kyle Orton, Buffalo Bills
He is on the BYE this week, but if you have a QB who has a bye later on or your QB just sucks, Orton might be a play. His next 4 games. vs. KC, @ MIA, vs. NYJ, vs. CLE. Think about it.

Halloween Candy Trade Value
Bill Simmons does his annual NBA Trade Value column, inspired by that, here is the Halloween Candy Trade Value Blog. This is certainly an "in the eye of the beholder" type of deal, but whatever. Here is my breakdown, with the idea that you wouldn't trade #1 for #2 straight up but maybe #1 for a #2 and #5 or something like that. You get it.
Note: Any "big size" or "normal size" candy bar immediately takes the top spot on the trade value chart, this is based off of "fun size."
TOP 10:

Week 8 Fantasy Football Pick Ups
WR Doug Baldwin, Seattle Seahawks
Monster Sunday for Baldwin who had 7 catches for 123 yards and a touchdown. He was a smart add immediately following the Percy Harvin trade, but if he is still available definitely worth a high waiver claim. He proved in the first chance he got post Harvin that he can be a good to guy.
RB Denard Robinson, Jacksonville Jaguars
I made fun of my friend who was forced to start Shoelace a couple weeks ago, but who's laughing now... (well neither of us, he dropped him after that game). Toby Gerhardt is still hurt, although could be back soon. Storm Johnson sucks and Robinson is fresh off a 22 carry, 127 yard, and 1 TD performance.
RB Anthony Dixon, Buffalo Bills
CJ Spiller is out until at least Week 16 (aka Fantasy Championship Week), and Fred Jackson is probably out a month. Dixon should get the first crack, with the next potential pick up looming. Dixon had been getting some carries (5, 2, 7, before 13 last week) and that was with Spiller/Jackson. Add him, if you miss out go for this guy...
RB Bryce Brown, Buffalo Bills
We saw some flashes from him with the Eagles. He's got fumble issues but is a decent back. Buffalo had been using both Spiller/Jax, so it's not likely to go only with Dixon. Deeper league should add Brown.
RB Tre Mason, St. Louis Rams
The rookie had far and away his best game last Sunday, 18 rushes for 85 yards and a TD in a win over Seattle. He's their best back but Jeff Fisher says they will go with the hot hand. They still have Zac Stacy and Benny Cunningham who will get carries, but I like Mason. Not a slam dunk guy, based on the uncertainty of how they use him. Either way, pick him up!

Just putting it in writing, Jeff Demps will return a kick for a TD in the playoffs this year. Can't keep that speed down for long. Let's just hope it doesn't happen against the Patriots...

Week 7 Fantasy Football Pick Ups
Eagles and Buccaneers are on the BYE this week. Make sure the injured RBs that are returning soon aren't on the waiver wire, guys like Mark Ingram, Rashad Jennings, Ryan Mathews, Toby Gerhart, etc.
WR Andre Holmes (Oakland Raiders)
4 catches, 121 yards, 2 touchdowns last week and he was good back in Week 4. They have their bye week behind them and he's looking like Derek Carr's go-to guy.
WR Mohammed Sanu (Cincinnati Bengals)
Mentioned him a few weeks back to be fair, but he is still available in a lot of leagues. A.J. Green is dealing with a toe injury and Marvin Jones is done for the season. Sanu was the #1 option last week and could be solid going forward.
WR Malcom Floyd (San Diego Chargers)
5-103-TD, and has 3 touchdowns on the season. Philip Rivers is having a great season and he's spreading the ball around. There seems to plenty for Gates, Allen, Royal, and Floyd.
Buffalo Bills Defense
If someone gave up on the Bills after their performance against the Patriots (or before), jump on them this week as they face the brutal Minnesota Vikings. The Packers and Lions D's feasted on Minnesota the last two weeks. Buffalo is at home which only helps.

Jeff Demps Available
NFL Network is reporting that Jeff Demps will be released from the Tampa Bay Buccanners practice squad.
Back to New England?
Well let's not get ahead of ourselves. Belichick puts LaGarrette Blount, Patrick Chung, and Matt Slater back to return kicks so it's not exactly a priority for him.
But I still love Demps. It doesn't look like he'll ever be Darren Sproles (great career by the way), but he should get a chance to be a teams kick returner and change of pace/ 3rd down back.
Even with the Ridley injury I don't see it happening here. But that doesn't mean I can't think about it.

All Female Ghostbusters?
It's official. I'm making a new Ghostbusters & writing it with @katiedippold & yes, it will star hilarious women. That's who I'm gonna call.
— Paul Feig (@paulfeig) October 8, 2014
Looks like the long rumored Ghostbusters sequel or spin-off will be an all-female cast. I have low expectations, not because it's ladies, but because it's a sequel that is decades in the making. No word yet on who they will be, plenty of speculation.
Who's your dream 4 woman ghost-busting team?
I'll take...
Kristen Wiig
Lizzy Caplan
Rebel Wilson
Amy Adams
Plenty of other good options, you need to find that right chemistry and balance.
Honorable mentions: Anna Kendrick, Rachel McAdams, Tina Fey, Julia Louise-Dreyfus, Jenny Slate, Emma Stone, Kaitlin Olson, Maya Rudolph, Mila Kunis, Aidy Bryant...

Week 6 Fantasy Football Pick Ups
Kansas City Chiefs and New Orleans Saints are on the BYE you might be looking for replacements. Who to pick up this week?
Couple weeks back I mentioned Chargers RB Brandon Oliver. Hopefully you got him off waivers. Here are some guys to target this week.
RB Andre Williams, New York Giants
The rookie out of BC should get a shot at the lead guy in the Giants backfield for the next couple of games with Rashad Jennings banged up, and maybe it leads to more of a role in the second half of the season.
RB Ronnie Hillman, Denver Broncos
Montee Ball is out a few weeks in Denver. They obviously pass first, and second out there, but Hillman should be the starting back. They also have C.J. Anderson and rookie Juwon Thompson.
TE Tim Wright, New England Patriots
5 receptions for 85 yards and a TD last week. Is it a mirage or could this be legit? Maybe it's somewhere in between, but worth a shot, especially if you need a TE.
RB Antone Smith, Atlanta Falcons
Limited touches, Jackson, Rodgers, and Freeman all ahead of him on the depth chart and yet Smith has scored 4 touchdowns (2 rush, 2 rec.). Not saying you play him right away, but he does have 3 double-digit performances in 5 games (and another with 9) in standard scoring leagues. In deeper league definitely worth owning.

Horror Movie of the Night: Sinister (2012)
"A true-crime writer finds a cache of 8mm home movies films that suggest the murder he is currently researching is the work of a serial killer whose career dates back to the 1960s."
Sinister (2012) is a creepy, turn-the-lights-on kind of movie. Could be one you have not seen, add it to the list this month. I won't give anything away but you'll be sucked right in from the start and it has an absolute bananas ending.
Recommended!
