Red Sox Win 2013 World Series

John Lackey wins Game 6.

38-year old David Ortiz hits .688 in the series to be named World Series MVP.

Shane Victorino sits out Games 4 & 5 with a back injury only to come up with 4 RBI in Game 6.

Brandon Workman pitches a perfect 8th in Game 6.

I have now seen the Red Sox win 3 World Series titles.  The same number as my 92-year old grandfather.

What a season.

Now who do you bring back....

Red Sox 1 Win Away

Sox take a 3-2 World Series lead back to Boston for Game 6 Wednesday night.

Few quick thoughts:

David Ortiz is playing like a jacked up Barry Bonds right now.  If I'm St. Louis I hold the 4 up and walk him literally everytime. No questions asked.

Jon Lester has been filthy.  Just dominant.  2 World Series wins. And two outings of 7.2 when they needed it.

Koji Uehara is awesome.

Xander Bogaerts will be on my fantasy baseball keeper team until he retires.

John Lackey in Game 6? John Lackey in Game 6!

I'll be talking about it on The Sports Hub tonight 7pm-12am.

The World Series Is Not For Everyone

Nice at-bat by Brandon Workman in the 9th there skip. I also liked how you never used Mike Napoli.  And way to stick with a white hot Saltalamacchia.

All the attention is on that miserable bastard Jim Joyce and his call, but my heavens was John Farrell awful.  Just awful.

Sports On Top Of Sports On TV: What Do You Do?

Your Big 4 sports are all in action tonight.  Your move.

NFL Draft - 1st Round (NFL Network/ ESPN)

Red Sox (Clay Buchholz) vs. Houston Astros (NESN)

Bruins vs. Tampa Lightning (NESN+)

NBA Playoffs
Heat vs. Bucks - Game 3 (TNT)
Nets vs. Bulls - Game 3 (NBA TV)
Clippers vs. Grizzlies - Game 3 (TNT)

Decision time.  For me it's not close.  I'm a Draft guy.  NFL and NBA, two of the best events on the calender.  But for the Pats-Fan-Layman you're not going to have much action for awhile.  1st round starts at 8:00pm, Pats have the 29th pick, that'll be post Sox and B's.

I'd go Draft, Sox (because I own Buchholz in Fantasy), NBA playoffs, and then last the Bruins.  3 games left in the regular season and we all just want the playoffs to begin, especially the Bruin players.  They've been bad.

Good luck to you and yours.
