Philip Seymour Hoffman: July 23, 1967 - February 2, 2014

One of the greats is dead.  I was thinking the other day about what actors have the best "Top 5 Films" on their resume, regardless of role.  And you know, this guy has got to be in the mix.

• Boogie Nights
• The Big Lebowski
• Almost Famous (not my favorite)
• Red Dragon
• 25th Hour
• Along Came Polly
• Capote (also not for me, but he was somethin)
• Mission Impossible III
• Moneyball

I mean it's no Brad Pitt "Top 5" or Vince Vaughn, or even Corey Feldman, but it's respectable.  

If you had "Will Philip Seymour Hoffman die before kick off of Super Bowl 48" prop, then you just cleaned up....
