Holiday Horror Movie Rankings

What "holiday" has inspired the best horror movies?  Everyone wants to know.  (Hey, it's better than a lame April Fool's joke.)

1. HALLOWEEN (1978)
Obvious choice.  You get this one and the zillion sequels and anything else like "Trick r Treat."

2. BLACK CHRISTMAS (1974)
How did a horror movie based around Christmas come out before Halloween?  Seriously, though.  If you haven't seen this one, make sure you see the original not the remake.

3. FRIDAY THE 13TH (1980)
Does this count?  Is this a holiday.  No?  Yeah probably not.  Ton of films though.

4. MY BLOODY VALENTINE (1981)
Valentine's Day should have all the horror movies.  There's this one, a remake, one called just "Valentine."  You ever see "Valentine's Day?"

5. APRIL FOOL'S DAY (1986)
Slasher set on April Fool's Day, if you can believe it.  We've been running out of ideas for quite some time.

HONORABLE MENTION:

Eli Roth's fake trailer for Grindhouse of THANKSGIVING
