Recorded a podcast with Keefe for #DORK today where we discussed the best baseball movies of all time and our all-time starting lineup. It's great stuff, had a ton of fun doing it and we probably could've gone on for a few hours if we didn't give a shit about timing. I'm sure we'll get it up here soon to check out.
Anyway, on the podcast Keefe pitched "Beer League" as a great baseball flick, certainly an underrated one. Even though it's about beer league softball, it's allowed and a GREAT call. Which got me thinking, for as funny as Artie Lange is in the movie, Seymour Cassel steals the show for me as "Dirt". Here's a "Best of Dirt" clip from YouTube. My personal favorite comes at :21 - what a line.
