Finn Balor to Relinquish WWE Universal Championship
Toooooooough tough break for Finn Balor. Guy receives the quickest title push in WWE history (probably) and has to forfeit the title due to injury less than 24 hours later. Rumors of the injury starting swirling last night when Balor was seen with his arm in a sling after the match and now tweeted out the video of exactly when he got hurt, but no official ruling has been made yet.
I've read that he dislocated the shoulder during the match but now he's meeting with surgeons to make sure his labrum isn't torn. Hopefully he returns sooner rather than later and is only forfeiting the title as to not hold back anything on TV with the new belt.
Also, this is a tough look for Seth Rollins, no? I mean first he breaks Cena's nose, then injures Sting's spine and ultimately puts him into retirement, and now this. I mean, he's one of the best wrestlers on the roster and these all seem like freak accidents but it's still a tough look.
But life goes on and Finn will be back. Hopefully Creative can cook something up on short notice and give guys like Kevin Owens a much deserved title shot.
