WWE TLC Predictions

We got TLC tonight which usually means a million big spots through the titular weapons. First blog since Rich joined WEEI. Let's get after it.

Main Card

Kalisto vs. Baron Corbin -- Chairs Match

This match is a lock to be a disappointment. Nobody cares about this feud at all and hopefully this is the official end of it.
Normal WWE booking suggests that we get a happy ending and the face comes out on top. But Corbin is supposed to be a big and nasty dude that should kick Kalisto's ass, and with the chair stipulation, I think that's what will happen here. Corbin needs to be pushed as a monster heel and a loss here just ruins his credibility (kind of like Bray Wyatt), and Kalisto will always be the underdog, so a loss on him is fine.
That's my pick. Onto the good matches.

Prediction: Baron Corbin

Heath Slater & Rhyno (c) vs. Bray Wyatt & Randy Orton -- Smackdown Tag Team Championships

Slater and Rhyno are still champions? I swear they haven't been on TV since they won the belts like 2 months ago. Wild.
This match SCREAMS Orton turning on Wyatt and giving up this charade, but I think it's more important to get the belts off of the current champs first and adding the belts to build to the inevitable turn for some extra drama.
Much like Orton ate a Reigns spear at Survivor Series to save his boss, I think he will eat a Gore from Rhyno (possibly turning it into an RKO?) to set Wyatt up for the pin. Let's give Bray a championship just once.

Prediction: Orton and Wyatt

The Miz (c) vs. Dolph Ziggler -- Intercontinental Championship

FINALLY!!! This has been announced as the official end of this feud and I could not be happier. This is a tough one to predict though. Do they want to keep it on Miz who has been KILLING his run as champ and give him a fresh feud with somebody else? Or do they want to give Ziggler a chance to take the title scene in a different direction?
My bold but not too bold prediction says that Miz will 100% feud with Daniel Bryan. Obviously, Bryan can't wrestle due to his injuries, but he can do it through someone else.
Bryan forced Miz into this title defense and that's why I think he might finally drop the belt for good. I think Ziggler will steal the match from the champ and that will piss the Miz off, leading to him getting in Daniel Bryan's face and furthering the tension between them. And as good as the Miz has been as champ, all good things must come to an end and I think we could all use a new IC title scene. Plus dropping the belt won't keep him off of TV because he's literally feuding with the guy who runs the show (assuming I'm right). So let's see where it goes but for now..

Prediction: Dolph Ziggler

Nikki Bella vs. Carmella -- No DQ Match

I ate a Butterfinger last night, so it's time for a Besse's Be Bolder Prediction Brought to You By Butterfinger.
I think Eva Marie was the one who attacked Nikki Bella at Survivor Series, and with the no DQ stipulation, I think she interferes here to help Carmella get the win and start a feud with Nikki Bella. Stay woke.
Also, I think Carmella sucks. She's corny as fuck.

Prediction: Carmella

Becky Lynch (c) vs. Alexa Bliss -- Smackdown Women's Championship Tables Match

All you need to know is that Alexa Bliss sealed her fate when she tossed Becky Lynch at the contract signing. No way she ends the night standing tall like that and then stays hot going into tonight to become the champ. No shot. WWE doesn't work that way.
Alexa Bliss is worthy of a title run, but Becky Lynch is starting to hit her stride so might as well stretch it out a little bit more.
I also think this is like the first women's tables match? Should be interesting.

Prediction: Becky Lynch

AJ Styles (c) vs. Dean Ambrose -- WWE Championship TLC Match

Since I'm dropping this blog late, I should drop it like my hands are slippery like Butterfingers so time for another Besse's Be Bolder Predictions Brought to You By Butterfinger.
1. James Ellsworth will turn heel and cost Dean the match while pairing up with the man who he is 3-0 against.
2. The Undertaker makes an appearance and starts a feud with AJ Styles.
SO.... I will combine the two. Check this out.

I think Ellsworth turns on Ambrose like I said, and while he stands in the middle of the ring with the Champ That Runs The Camp, the lights go out and Taker attacks them. This goes perfectly with my prediction from the Survivor Series blog where Taker beats Styles for the belt at Rumble and then drops it to Cena at Mania. Book it. LOCK IT UP.

Prediction: AJ Styles

I probably could've done better with this, but I just didn't have much to say on the matches so let's just see where tonight takes up.

As always.. @KButter_22
