Keep in mind I was 0-4 on Wild Card weekend, so bet opposite!
Ravens (+7) vs. Patriots
Seahawks (-11) vs. Panthers
Cowboys (+6) vs. Packers
Colts (+7) vs. Broncos
Good luck.

Week 10 Fantasy Football Pick Ups
RB Adrian Peterson, Minnesota Vikings
No jail time. 80 hours of community service. $4,000 fine. And your top priority on the waiver wire. A lot of teams held on to their 1st round pick, but after sitting out for almost 2 months some teams sent him packing. Well, pick him back up. No official word on when he will return, but Minnesota has their BYE week this weekend, and there is no real reason Goodell won't activate him. Will the Vikings? I'd say yes.
RB Terrence West, Cleveland Browns
Drafted, dropped, picked back up. That has been West's fantasy season. The rookie was very intriguing back in August, had some good games, had a healthy scratch and never really capitalized on the Ben Tate injury. Last week however? More touches that Tate & Crowell combined. It's a tricky situation, but West needs to be owned and against Cincy this week, started.
QB Mark Sanchez, Philadelphia Eagles
I know, I know. Mark Sanchez? He did throw 2 touchdowns in relief last week and actually looked good in the preseason (I only reference preseason if it serves my point.) Fact is, Nick Foles is out for awhile and that Chip Kelly offense can probably run (relatively smooth) with anyone under center. McCoy, Maclin, Matthews, Sproles, Ertz, etc. Sanchez is at the very least a solid bye week fill-in.
D/ST Dallas Cowboys
Playing Jacksonville (in London) this week. There you go.

Your Thanksgiving Day TV Schedule
It's perhaps the greatest day of the year. Football, Food, Family. Here is what you'll (I'll) be watching this Thursday.
9am-Noon: MACY'S DAY PARADE
Look for my favorites: Woody the Woodpecker and Spider-man. Also Cam Neely and Mike Ritcher will be on a float promoting the next day's Bruins-Rangers game.
12-2pm: THE NATIONAL DOG SHOW
You can watch 30 mins uninterrupted of this bad boy before switching back and forth with what's next. But who doesn't love a dog show? Give me the Working Class every time.
12:30pm: Green Bay Packers @ Detroit Lions
Big NFC North match up here, but an even bigger fantasy football game. Calvin Johnson, Reggie Bush, Matt Stafford, Eddie Lacy, Jordy Nelson, Jarrett Boytkin, and Matt Flynn?
4:30pm: Oakland Raiders @ Dallas Cowboys
Not the best game, but it's still football. Maybe eat during some of this one.
8:30pm: Pittsburgh Steelers @ Baltimore Ravens
Two disappointing teams go at it with playoff chances really on the line. The winner is guaranteed anything but the loser is probably done.
9:30: Lady Gaga & The Muppets Holiday Spectacular
I'm no Lady Gaga fan, not even close. But as you know, I'm in on anything Muppets. Pair them with Stalin and I'm watching. Hopefully it's not too much Gaga and friends.
HAPPY THANKSGIVING FROM THE SPORTS BRIEF!

The Grim Reaper visits Colts' Austin Collie
Living out in San Francisco we got to watch the Chiefs at Raiders game on CBS while the east coast watched the Colts at Eagles. So at some point in the afternoon my buddy Kevin texted me and said Austin Collie might be dead. I immediately went to Youtube and it was already up. I swear the hit had just happened and I had just gotten a text and some guy had it posted to his account. The internet is a magical thing.
Anyway, this is an ugly scene:
The hit itself wasn't all that bad in terms of how vicious it was, the end result certainly is tough to watch. Collie was out on his feet, mummified and stretched cold ala Jahvid Best.
But what bothers me the most about the Collie incident is how classless the Eagles' players and fans were during the whole thing. The refs called unsportsmanlike conduct for an illegal helmet to helmet hit. Sure, it's debatable. Collie turned into the defender, so you can argue the call. But regardless, Collie is practically dead, questionably paralyzed on the field and Asante Samuel is dancing around protesting the call like an asshole while the bans boo the refs. Give me a break. Let's have some silence for the poor guy.
Anyway, later in the evening the Cowboys' Roy Williams took a mean hit from Nick Collins in the NBC game. I actually think this hit was worse than Collie's, but Williams was actually able to get up under his own power. Collins will be paying a hefty fine this week for sure...
