Another Wolverine movie comes out tonight. The last one was fine, but the pressing question is, who are the 5 best members of the X-Men all-time? I mean, how do you even comprise a list? What makes a character better than another? Well Wolverine is better than Banshee, that guys just screams.
5 Best is different than 5 favorite.
My 5 favorite X-Men all-time? Easy.
- ICEMAN
- HAVOK
- GAMBIT
- ROGUE
- COLOSSUS
But the 5 Best? Not easy.
5.
STORM
She was not a part of the original team but has been a major player ever since. You need someone who can control the weather, it's a must in the super hero game.
4.
ICEMAN
Second member and the youngest guy in the crew. I have always respected Iceman, seems one dimensional, but you clearly don't get it.
3.
CYCLOPS
He's the leader. Shoots red laser beams out of his eyes and is a bit of a ladies man (Jean Grey, Emma Frost, and Madelyne Pryor). First guy Prof. X brought in, so it's a big deal.
2. WOLVERINE
There isn't a solo Cyclops movie. Wolverine is a bit of a wild card but gives the X-Men some toughness factor. The little guy can fight, where would they be without Weapon X?
1. PROFESSOR CHARLES XAVIER
Who else? Without him you got nothing. Boring I know, but he is the best X-Man. And he was reading minds long before Sookie Stackhouse.
I was never a Beast or Archangel fan, but Nightcrawler deserves a shout out as well. Psylocke and Bishop were decent too. So many members!
